Gilbert de Montsalvat Anniversary
There’s always a story behind a cigar. And this mysterious Gilbert de Montsalvat Anniversary is no exception to that rule. It was on a day of dreadful weather that its creator came to realise that a cigar can only be truly appreciated when enjoyed of one’s own free will. That is how the story of this Anniversary begins; as for the ending… that’s entirely up to you…

Notes
This blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican tobacco offers a truly delightful range of aromas! Notes of roasted beans and sweet almonds mean this cigar delivers intense flavours right from the moment it is lit. There is a vegetal note, but it is very well balanced. Cocoa and dried fruit then come to the fore, offering a rich and creamy smoking experience. A cigar with pronounced aromas, yet moderate strength. A real treat!
Pairing
This cigar pairs well with a crêpe flambéed with Grand Marnier. It takes a treat to match a treat. We’ll happily steer clear of spirits – which are too strong for this size – and pair it instead with a green tea briefly infused with jasmine.
Momentum
A sunny Sunday afternoon on the terrace of the local tea room.

A cigar-related anecdote
The character ‘Gilbert de Montsalvat’ is charming, calm, level-headed and possesses a good dose of subtle humour.
