This puro, made exclusively from Nicaraguan tobacco, is meticulously crafted at the renowned Casa Carrillo factory (formerly Tabacalera La Alianza) in the Dominican Republic.

It offers a smooth, creamy smoke with a unique flavour profile. Woody and earthy notes, slightly spicy, are subtly balanced by a delicate sweetness, all ending with a lingering finish.

Each box contains 15 cigars adorned with two rings of different colours: one evoking the historic burgundy ring of the first CLASSIC edition, the other silver, reminiscent of the more recent SIGNATURE line. However, the blend remains identical for both versions.

Gilbert de Montsalvat is a Swiss cigar brand founded by Raymondo Bernasconi, inspired by a character from Thomas Brunnschweiler’s novel *Der Papst von Genf* (The Pope of Geneva). The brand was launched on 1 April 2008, incorporating the irony and moral of the story, which emphasise the importance of trusting one’s instincts and judgement.

The cigars are manufactured in the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The brand offers several ranges, including Classic, Revolution Style, Anniversary, Treasure, and Lounge.
