AVO Fusion Event and Sushi

To mark the launch of the NEW AVO Expresivo, we have devised much more than just a tasting. These are genuine pairings, designed to offer a complete tasting experience, where the cigar and the food blend harmoniously around the cigar’s smoke. A quest for the pinnacle of balance by the talented Lionel Da Silva and the Blue Smoke team. Michel Bambula will be presenting this superb AVO Expresivo to us.

A subtle balance is created between the smoky notes of the cigar-smoked dishes and the echoes of the cigar’s aromas, resulting in a sensory experience characterised by finesse and harmony. NB: all cocktails are also available in non-alcoholic versions.

Included in the price

The price (145.-) includes:

• 3 cigars (1 AVO Expresivo, 1 AVO XO or Classic, 1 AVO Puritos).
• 15 assorted sushi pieces, including creations made with cigar-smoked salmon.
• Live cooking demonstration: cigar-smoked nigiri prepared on the spot in front of the guests.
• Cigar-smoked salmon ceviche served with Caribbean leche.
• Salmon tataki with black sesame, pickles and a touch of chilli oil, also cigar-smoked.
• 2 signature cocktails: Yuzu and White Russian

Optional: treat yourself to a wine pairing with our selected wines (3dl) for an extra 30.-

Programme for the evening

• 5.00 pm Welcome drinks at Yuzu, Puros AVO
• 5.30 pm Welcome address by Tim and Lea. Introduction of the speakers and the concept for the evening.
• 5.35 pm Presentation of the food concept by Lionel. Opening of the cigar buffet (choice of XO or Classic).
• 6.00 pm Presentation of AVO by Michel.
• 6.30 pm – 7.00 pm Handout of Expresivo cigars and presentation of this exceptional new cigar by Michel from Davidoff. Presentation of food pairings by Lionel and the Blue Smokers. Live smoking of the dishes
• 8.00 pm Smoking and tasting of the second cocktail
