Bohekio Maduro Robusto Gordo

A clean, expressive attack, dominated by a very prominent, almost creamy sandalwood note, underpinned by deep toasty notes. The heart is decidedly earthy, with a hint of sulphur that lends tension and character without ever becoming overpowering. Compared to the Gordito format, the palate is rounder and fuller, with a more enveloping texture. The aromas, though powerful, appear more blended and integrated, giving an impression of coherence and maturity. The overall impression retains a strong personality, whilst gaining in harmony and depth.

The initial aroma gives an almost indulgent impression of sweetness, like a lightly caramelised treat blended with delicate vanilla. Lighting the cigar reveals a whole range of sensations: at first silky and light, almost caressing, with a smoke that envelops the senses without being overpowering.

As the burning progresses, this veil thickens and transforms: an earthy, almost rustic quality emerges. This earthy, almost mineral character evokes a rarer, more intriguing note that some associate with a hint of sulphur—not pungent, but rather like an ancient mineral signature, reminiscent of volcanic or rocky soil, which draws and captivates the attention.

The smoky flavour evolves from mild and sweet to a more rustic and earthy character
