Izambar Swindon

For this latest creation, Edmond and Antonio have once again prepared a wonderful surprise for us. Wrapped in a beautiful Ecuadorian cape, we find Nicaraguan tobaccos from the Jalapa and Condega regions.

First, the visual appearance. Like the brand's other cigars, it features a wide band with a steampunk look. This is a legacy of Izambar Brunel, the great English engineer of the early 19th century. The codes of previous vitoles are respected with a dark, oily wrapper that already makes us want to light it up.

Tasting menu

Notes

Balanced and creamy. These two adjectives alone could characterise this cigar. Upon lighting, the first wisps of smoke are already dense and fill the room with the initial aromas of earth and leather.
Like Brunel's plans, everything here is measured down to the millimetre. The burn is perfect and the ash holds well. The increasingly complex aromas bring notes of spice and fruit.

Pairing

Accompanied by a stout, this cigar will take you on a journey through time, and you may even hear the distant whistle of a steam locomotive.

Swindon railway station in England was one of the first places where a bar counter was installed, under the direction of Izambard Brunel himself. Cheers!
