Undercrown Sun Grown Dogma
A limited edition produced for the Cigar Dojo blog, this cigar was made with tobacco from the USA and Nicaragua, wrapped in an Ecuadorian Sumatra Sun Grown wrapper.
In the Dogma version, its box-pressed format gives it exceptional draw and perfect combustion.

Tasting notes
If this cigar had a common theme, it would be spices. Constantly evolving from nutmeg and red pepper at the light to intensifying into black pepper after the first third and softening again towards the end of the cigar, they lull us with a pleasant warmth.
There is also a hint of roasted hazelnuts at the start. The smoke, generous from the very first moments, will not leave us for a moment.
Halfway through our tasting experience, we are surprised by a hint of freshness that is most welcome and goes wonderfully well with cold tapas.
The finish, slightly creamy, will release very pleasant notes of hay and leather.
Pairing
A cigar that we particularly enjoyed with drinks. Served with a few cold tapas to bring a sensation of freshness to the palate during tasting.
We paired it with a shrimp cocktail and guacamole, whose zesty flavours evoked the citrus peel notes we detected halfway through the cigar.

The cigar anecdote
Cigar enthusiasts from the Cigar Dojo community had a direct influence on its design, making it almost a "crowdsourced" product. The cigar was so successful that it was reissued in subsequent years.
