ADVentura Barbarroja’s Invasion

Barbarroja takes on a darker, more aggressive tone in the stories by ADV & McKay – it is nothing less than a quest for world domination in the world of cigar enjoyment. This medium-bodied cigar is crafted to ADV’s usual high standard. Dark and spicy, with a superb nougat note, accompanied by liquorice and enhanced by a pinch of black pepper.

The wrapper comes from San Andrés in Mexico, the binder from the Dominican Republic, and the filler consists of Medio Tiempo from the Dominican Republic. The raw tobacco is aged for between 4 and 5 years, the cigars for between 4 and 5 months, and then they are aged for a further 5 months in the curing room.

Barbarroja stands out for its use of rare Medio Tiempo leaves, which give it a distinctive strength and exceptional aromatic richness.

Medio Tiempo is a rare and highly sought-after tobacco leaf in the world of cigars. It grows only on a small number of tobacco plants, at the very top of the plant, which naturally limits its availability. Thicker and richer than other leaves, it gives the cigar greater strength, depth and aromatic complexity, with notes that are often darker, earthier, cocoa-like and spicy.
