ADVentura The Navigator Cadamosto
Climb aboard and let yourself be swept away by the discovery of spices from the New World. A rich, nuanced tasting experience.
Named after the great explorer Alvise Cadamosto, who discovered the Cape Verde Islands in the 15th century, this cigar is an invitation to travel. Its ocean-blue band contrasts beautifully with the maduro-tinted Mexican wrapper.
Tasting note
Notes
The first whiff reveals notes of coffee and roasted nuts. The smoke that quickly fills the mouth is smooth and full-bodied.
The notes quickly evolve and the tasting moves towards a more powerful aromatic palette of leather and spices, enhanced by a touch of caramel, which perfectly balances the first third of this pyramid.
The combustion line is clear. Black and thick, it lets out the essential oils contained in the wrapper, which felt dry and smooth to the touch.
As we progress towards the second part of this module, the tripe made up of 5 leaves from different terroirs redirects the tasting towards aromas of wood and leather. These warm, reassuring notes will stay with us right through to the finish.
The final third brings earthy notes and black pepper, leaving a slight peanut flavour on the finish.
The constant evolution of this cigar will delight the most seasoned sailors among you.
Throughout our journey, we were guided by a full, soft smoke and accompanied by a beautiful white ash.
Pairing
A heady red wine such as a lightly barrique Syrah will go wonderfully well with this cigar. Its spicy notes will blend perfectly with the navigator's pepper.
Momentum
A cigar to enjoy in the evening as the meal draws to a close. It will bring your evening to a close with a journey of flavours that will stay with you until nightfall.
