Lemena Maduro Half Corona
The Lemena Maduro was created by José ‘Jochy’ Blanco in collaboration with the Benaglio family and rolled at the Tabacalera Palma. Its dark, oily Mexican San Andrés wrapper envelops a Dominican Piloto Cubano binder and a filler blend of Piloto Cubano and Criollo 98. It is the strongest cigar in the Lemena range.
It builds slowly, revealing notes of dark chocolate, espresso and molasses, with the sweetness of ripe fruit, wood and a hint of spice. The finish is long and velvety. As a Half Corona, it can be savoured over around thirty minutes.

About Lemena
Lemena is a Swiss family story. Behind the three letters ‘BMD’ on the band lies Bruno Benaglio, the father, who passed on his passion for cigars to his sons, and his two sons: Mauro, who founded the project, and Diego, the former goalkeeper for the Swiss national team. The name Lemena is formed from their children’s initials.
What began in 2022 as a small family project took on a whole new dimension when the production moved to a new factory: Lemena is now rolled in the Dominican Republic by José ‘Jochy’ Blanco, a third-generation cigar maker, at his Tabacalera Palma. Together, they have created three ranges – Connecticut, Corojo and Maduro – each available in Half Corona, Robusto and Gordo sizes.
