The Galley Anemoi Zephyrus

In Greek mythology, Zephyrus is considered to be the gentlest of the Anemoi (the wind gods). And this wonderful cigar is certainly not lacking in gentleness, but don't let yourself be too charmed, or you may find yourself swept away by a storm of flavours.

The west wind, heralding rain, irrigates the crops and gives the Dominican Republic, where these cigars are rolled, its unique climate.
In this new range, Galera offers us a Dominican blend (Criollo 98 and Piloto Cubano) wrapped in a Connecticut maduro wrapper.

Notes

Raw, with slightly honeyed and woody notes, it is clear that the gods of the wind will treat us to a smooth and consistent draw.
Zephyrus, the gentlest of the Greek gods of the wind. A divine sweetness that we find at the start of our tasting, with honeyed and chocolatey notes that evolve into scents of leather and coffee throughout the adventure (get it?).

About La Galera

La Galera is the heart of a cigar factory. It is here that the master blenders work their magic, transforming raw tobacco into exceptional cigars.

José “Jochy” Arnaldo Blanco comes from one of those families who have dedicated their lives to tobacco farming and cigar-making. For the Blancos, the story began with Jochy’s great-grandfather, who was already cultivating tobacco fields.

After rolling cigars for other major brands for years, Jochy’s father decided it was time for his family to start producing their own cigars. Tabacalera Palma has now been producing its own cigars for two generations, proudly rolled by the factory’s 400 or so employees.
