La Galera is the heart of a cigar factory. It is here that the master blenders work their magic, transforming raw tobacco into exceptional cigars.

José “Jochy” Arnaldo Blanco comes from one of those families who have dedicated their lives to tobacco farming and cigar-making. For the Blancos, the story began with Jochy’s great-grandfather, who was already cultivating tobacco fields.

After rolling cigars for other major brands for years, Jochy’s father decided it was time for his family to start producing their own cigars. Tabacalera Palma has now been producing its own cigars for two generations, proudly rolled by the factory’s 400 or so employees.
