Furia Alecto

In Greek mythology, Alecto is one of the Erinyes, relentless deities charged with punishing crimes of bloodshed. Her name, often translated as ‘she who gives no peace’, embodies unceasing wrath and a relentless pursuit. Depicted as winged and surrounded by snakes, she rises from the depths to torment the guilty. A dark and unyielding figure, whose intensity resonates perfectly with the assertive character of the cigar that bears her name.

An IPA-style beer

Small robusto

Woody, Peppery

The tone is set from the moment you pick it up. This small Robusto, with its generous 56 ring gauge, has a slightly stocky, almost indulgent shape. The dark, perfectly smooth Maduro wrapper immediately catches the eye. There are no visible flaws, the finish is clean, and that little blue cord serves as a signature, giving it a look that is both unusual and elegant.

To the touch, the cigar feels firm and well-filled, promising a flavourful smoking experience. When unlit, the aromas open up intensely with a distinct chocolate note. Although the amount of tobacco is considerable, the draw is very airy. If you prefer a tighter draw, we recommend punching the cigar to slightly reduce the airflow. Be mindful, however, of the concentration of the aromas.

It lights easily. From the very first puffs, the flavour profile quickly emerges: an earthy base, accompanied by a slight hint of acidity that adds depth. The smoke is abundant, dense and an opaque grey.

The ash, a light grey with subtle black streaks, reflects the construction: solid. Although it has a slightly fuzzy surface, it holds up remarkably well and is a testament to the care taken in the rolling process.

After the first few minutes, the cigar settles down. The flavours become more rounded, revealing hints of mild spices and nuts.

Halfway through, the flavour profile develops more character. The black pepper comes through more distinctly, without ever overpowering the other flavours. The overall impression remains balanced and structured, without any harshness. The blend is unmistakably Nicaraguan. Earthy and spicy. The burn, meanwhile, shows no sign of faltering. Even and clean, it highlights the oils of the maduro wrapper, which glisten slightly under the heat of the embers — a true pleasure for the eyes as well as the palate.

This is a cigar that builds in strength without being harsh. It has a distinct character, yet remains consistently balanced.
