Tasting notes

The draw is particularly pleasant, well-balanced without being too loose. Somewhat surprisingly, the dry draw is quite salty and evokes lovely maritime notes.

The tasting starts off gently in terms of strength, but already reveals some fairly peppery notes. We did note a slight reservation regarding the ash, which was somewhat crumbly, but this is a minor detail that is easily overlooked.

One immediately notices a lovely length on the palate, characterised by lingering peppery notes. As the cigar is smoked, it develops into warmer spices, reminiscent of chilli and hot paprika, with an aromatic finish reminiscent of an Indian dish.

By the halfway point, the aromas take on a richer character, with hints of chocolate, always balanced by the warmth of the spicy notes.

Woody notes will emerge towards the end of the tasting, in the final third.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience, with a wine that doesn’t start off too strongly but develops a rich and complex flavour profile.
