Virgin White Russian (non-alcoholic)
If you fancy a ‘The Dude’ version of the White Russian – inspired by the character The Dude in *The Big Lebowski*, but without the alcohol – here’s a recipe that stays true to the spirit of the film.
Ingredients for one non-alcoholic White Russian (1 glass)
- 60 ml non-alcoholic vodka
- 60 ml cold Moka coffee (decaffeinated option available)
- 30 ml single cream (or whipping cream) alternative = frothed milk
- Vanilla extract
- Ice cubes
Preparation
- Start by filling a whisky glass (a ‘rocks glass’) with ice cubes to chill the drink thoroughly.
- Prepare the mocktail directly in the glass by layering the ingredients. First pour in 60 ml of non-alcoholic vodka, then the coffee
- Slowly pour the single cream over the back of a spoon. This technique creates a lovely layered effect.
- Add a drop of vanilla extract.
- Garnish with a few coffee beans.
