La Galera Maduro Chaveta
It is under a Mexican wrapper from San Andrés that Jochy Blanco has some wonderful surprises in store for us with this Maduro range. The blend comes mainly from tobaccos selected from the reserves of La Galera in Palma, Dominican Republic. However, there are also a few other gems unearthed by the master blender during his travels in search of the best tobaccos in the world.
A cigar that might be thought to be very powerful because of its dark wrapper, but whose blend is so skilfully mastered that the aromas of the undergrowth are perfectly balanced with the warm spices of the wrapper.
A cigar to be savoured slowly while observing the beautiful light ash that forms evenly until it falls in compact chunks to the floor.

Notes
The San Andrés cape releases a few peppery notes that tickle the nose as soon as it is lit. These are followed by beautiful flavours of undergrowth and moss. The last third brings us a hint of cocoa and warm earth.
