For this first cigar, which will make his dream come true, Tonio offers us a cigar that reflects his personality. He has travelled all over the world for his work and has had the opportunity to experience many different cultures. This cigar is made from tobacco from five different countries.
The dark Ecuador wrapper, set with a band proudly displaying a dancing skeleton, gives the cigar a dark and captivating look. The filler is composed of tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Honduras. These bring sweet cocoa flavours. The binder (or binders in this case) is composed of leaves from Nicaragua and Indonesia. It is perhaps the latter that gives it its roasted flavour.

Notes
The first notes of this cigar come from the wrapper. This beautiful leaf from Ecuador begins our taste journey with hints of sweet cocoa.
Once the fabric ring has been removed from the foot, you can light it and begin your taste journey.
The dark chocolate notes are generous and quickly fill our palate. It's safe to say that the tasting promises to be indulgent and flavourful. The evolution will be fairly straightforward without becoming boring. There will be a few changes in flavour. The chocolate takes on roasted notes and then changes to coffee. The whole experience is accompanied by a hint of sweetness that is almost sugary at times.
The cigar is pleasant without being too strong, which will delight new enthusiasts. The overall burn is good and the smoke is pleasant.
Pairing
Paired with a Mojito, this festive little treat will work wonders. Its sweet, chocolatey flavour will go well with the slight kick provided by the rum in your cocktail and the freshness of the mint.

The cigar anecdote
The ecological approach also prompted Skel Ton to rethink the traditional wooden boxes. To replace them, Tonio used an "injection-moulded paper" process. This reduces the carbon footprint of each cigar and, what's more, they are designed in Germany.
About Skel Ton
Skel Ton cigars are the realisation of Tonio Neugebauer’s dream.
Starting out as a plumber, then serving in the military, he found himself working as a wind turbine climber, a job that took him all over Europe. It was during a mission in Sardinia in 2009 that he smoked his first cigar with one of his colleagues. From that moment on, he began to cherish the dream of producing his own brand of cigars.
In 2013, he embarked on a new chapter, leaving the wind turbine industry to work for an online cigar retailer. This allowed him to sample a vast array of cigars and refine his palate, whilst secretly laying the groundwork for his ‘dream’, which would become a reality in 2016.
