Madame Blue Smoke admits to having a soft spot for Liga de Reyes, which is full of flavour and character. We’re very keen to find out which one will appeal most to your palate!

A story about cigars
The Spanish word raíces means ‘roots’. The name therefore evokes the Cuban heritage of its founders and their expertise in tobacco processing.
Different flavours
The Raíces Clásico offers a smooth and balanced flavour profile, dominated by creamy notes, toasted hazelnut and subtle woody undertones. On the palate, it develops a slight natural sweetness accompanied by subtle hints of spice. Its finish is smooth and pleasant, making it an accessible cigar that is easy to enjoy.
The Raíces Liga de Reyes has a more complex profile, with notes of cedar, cocoa, dark chocolate and nuts. The smoke retains a certain smoothness, whilst peppery and earthy nuances gradually emerge. The finish is longer-lasting, characterised by wood and spices, with a fine balance between smoothness and character.
The Raíces C5 Black stands out for its more powerful and intense profile. Right from the first puff, notes of earth, cocoa and pepper emerge, before giving way to aromas of roasted coffee, mocha and dark chocolate. Fruity nuances may also emerge, reminiscent in particular of cherry. The finish is long, spicy and earthy, with an intensity that will appeal more to lovers of full-bodied cigars.
Finally, the Raíces 1941 Nuevo Comienzo develops a deep, structured profile, centred on cedar, dry wood, leather and earth. As the tasting progresses, notes of cocoa, coffee and warm spices enrich the overall flavour. Depending on the size and how the burn progresses, a creamy smoothness can balance these more robust aromas. The finish is lingering, woody and spicy, giving this cigar a character that is both earthy and elegant.

About Raices
The Raíces brand is a range of premium cigars manufactured in Danlí, Honduras, by the Fábrica de Tabacos Raíces Cubanas factory. It has Cuban roots, but its cigars are produced in Honduras.
In 2024, Raíces Cubanas launched new ranges under its own name, in collaboration with Ralph Montero, a former director and partner at Alec Bradley. The aim is to showcase the factory’s expertise directly to the public.
The Spanish word raíces means ‘roots’. The name therefore evokes the Cuban heritage of its founders and their expertise in tobacco craftsmanship.
