Plasencia Cosecha 151 La Musica
Through the golden veil of the smooth wrapper of Plasencia Cosecha 151, every detail becomes a promise to the senses. Slightly ribbed, this wrapper recalls the feel of leather, even evoking its subtle scent. Adorned with gold rings, it celebrates the 2016 harvest, which was exceptional for the Plasencia family.
The construction is robust. The head is carefully sealed, promising a clean cut with no surprises. The ignition is uniform, ensuring an ideal draw and even combustion throughout the tasting.

Notes
Even before lighting this robusto, the first hints of spice tickle our nostrils.
The burn starts smoothly and the ash that forms in compact layers is testament to the exceptional quality of the torcedores' work.
The flavours emerge like a complex story. Notes of nuts and fodder open the narrative, evolving gracefully towards notes of coffee. The initial power softens, giving way to an enveloping roundness. The leather will linger until the end of the first act.
The ash holds firm until it reaches the second band and even when removed, it will still cling on for a few minutes. It is around the middle of the second act that it will finally give way. We will take this opportunity to degas the cigar, which will revive the cedar aromas and restore the smoke's silky texture from the beginning.
The final act sees the arrival of a new, spicy protagonist, adding an almost unexpected new dimension to our story.
Pairing
Accompanied by a glass of Château Pape Clément, whose smoky, spicy bouquet and mellow finish will pair beautifully with our dish of the day.

The cigar anecdote
The 2016 harvest is the third to have its quality recognised by this wonderful "cosecha" range.
