La Bucanera Gordito
This cigar was created by ADVentura in 2019, and the signature characteristics of ADVentura cigars are clearly evident in the tasting notes. It is notable for being a Nicaraguan puro. Having tasted it in three sizes, we have selected the Gordito for you: an accessible and enjoyable cigar that remains true to the flavour profile of its Toro and Robusto counterparts.
The Gordito is a round cigar, offering a smooth and pleasant start. Lighter than its cousin, the Robusto, the Gordito is imposing in size but proves to be a rather mild companion. The draw is airy, which encourages a generous smoke and a smooth smoking experience.
This tasting offers subtle notes of chocolate and coffee with cream. A well-rounded, pleasant and approachable cigar, it invites us to gently come ashore.
The tasting continues pleasantly and smoothly, with a finish reminiscent of coffee grounds, like Turkish coffee with a hint of cardamom.

The Legend of the Bucanera
The blazing sun beat down on the deserted island as La Bucanera, the feared Queen of the Caribbean, was washed ashore. Her ship, the Sturmvogel, had sunk in a violent storm, leaving her alone in a wild yet fascinating land.
Sword in hand, she fought her way through the dense jungle, drawn by the lush tobacco plants. Soon, she began to cultivate them and saw in their leaves not only a means of survival, but also an opportunity to rebuild her fortune and reunite her scattered crew. From the wreckage of the ship, she built a camp. At night, she spoke there of freedom, hidden treasures and a new life.
The island became her refuge — a place where she could build a community based on solidarity, tobacco and shared dreams. La Bucanera knew it: this was only the beginning — her greatest adventures were still to come.
