The Aurora 120 Anniversary Churchill gets off to a rather abrupt start, with a very sharp initial flavour that clearly dominates the first few puffs. This opening might throw some people off balance, especially as the cigar is rolled quite tightly, which restricts the aromas at the start before they begin to mellow.

Before lighting, however, there is a rather inviting, rich nougat-like aroma, which is not immediately apparent once lit. It is not until the second third that the cigar settles down and reveals its true nature: woody notes take the lead, accompanied by hints of hazelnut and walnut that lend a certain roundness and a more cohesive profile. It is at this point that the experience reaches its peak. The evolution is therefore genuine and appreciable.
To get the most out of it, we recommend a clean cut, which will allow the air to flow freely and the aromas to be released to their full potential.
