La Aurora 115th Anniversary Toro

Excellence takes time. Time brings experience. Experience is passed down as a legacy. And it is this legacy that we are talking about today. To celebrate La Aurora's 115th anniversary, the oldest cigar factory in the Dominican Republic is taking the luxury of time to offer us a cigar made from expertly aged and blended tobaccos.

In this "toro" version, we find tobaccos from Brazil, the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua for the binder and filler. The wrapper comes from Ecuador.

Take the time to savour it, as its power deserves to be 'settled' on the palate.

Notes

A tasting that quickly starts with scents of black pepper and cinnamon. A rather surprising blend that can be explained by the Sumatra tobacco used for the wrapper.
A cigar that will take us on a journey, that's for sure. Notes of citrus and nuts dance and mingle with aromas of citrus and wood.
The finish, which is smoother and creamier, brings a touch of old wood and a lovely persistence, even after the tasting is over.
