An introduction to cigar tasting, featuring two cigars from different regions. Paired with three drinks. Minimum of three people for a private tasting, or join a group with other Blue Smokers. The perfect gift for you or your loved ones to dive headfirst into the world of cigars.
Level: Beginners and novices welcome; no prior knowledge required.

- Introduction to the speakers
- Basic principles of sensory analysis, based on the five senses
- Introduction to the flavour wheel
- Fun blind test and palate preparation
- Introduction to cigar tasting and a guide
- Tasting of the first cigar and two drinks
- Tasting of a second cigar and one drink
Practical information
- The tasting will take place on the most beautiful terrace in Sion, overlooking Valère
- The venue is a 7-minute walk from Sion railway station
- Scex car park is a 1-minute walk away
- Rooms are available to book at a nearby hotel (Hôtel Elite) – request a room upgrade with a mountain view when booking.
Terms and Conditions
The price is CHF 70 per person. Minimum of 3 people. For special events (birthdays, company outings, stag/hen parties, etc.), please contact us for a personalised quote. The tasting takes place in Sion on Rue du Rhône or at one of our partner venues. We can also hold the introductory session at a venue of your choice; travel costs will be charged separately.
