This No. 62 Natural is one of the smaller cigars in E.P. Carrillo’s INCH range (five sizes in total), but it already makes a great impression! Stately, adorned with two gold bands and wrapped in a silky wrapper that feels firm to the touch, this cigar could be a wrestler who fears nothing. One could easily draw a parallel with the story of Ernesto Perez-Carrillo who, upon leaving his native Cuba, took a few seeds with him in his pocket, along with a burning desire to continue growing tobacco leaves and creating cigars in his own image. A determined man who never gives up.

Notes
Despite its unconventional size, this cigar is very approachable and offers rather mild flavours. The initial scent of fresh hay quickly gives way to earthier notes and hints of cumin. Sweet notes of white pepper remind me of my grandmother’s spice drawer. The bitterness of an overly fresh nut appears for a moment before giving way to a creamy flavour. Once established, this flavour accompanies us right to the end of the journey.
