CigarKings Maduro Elegantes
CigarKings offers us an unusual format for this new creation. And it is certainly elegant. With its chocolate-coloured maduro wrapper, it invites us to enjoy a gourmet tasting experience.
Hand-rolled in Esteli using the traditional Cuban "entubado" method, each leaf is rolled onto itself before being added to the filler. This is one of the oldest and most laborious methods of "grouping" the leaves. This rolling technique involves forming up to eight separate channels from the filler tobacco, each generating its own smoke channel. Thanks to the formation of these "tubes", cigar rollers are able to roll the wrapper more tightly around the filler, which is only possible with this "entubado" method.
The "Entubar" method produces a compact cigar that burns slowly, allowing all the aromas of the blend to develop optimally. This technique is used by a few manufacturers and requires meticulous work.
The richness promised by the wrapper is certainly there. The aromas are creamy and nutty at the start. Since this cigar is rolled exclusively with viso and seco tobacco, it retains a pleasant strength without being excessive. This size offers a flawless draw and burn.
However, be careful to respect its rather thin format (46 ring gauge, which becomes thinner as you smoke it) and not to heat it too much, as this may bring out more pungent notes. We therefore recommend smoking it slowly.
