Casa Magna Maduro Robusto

If you can't taste the chocolate, you need to get your sense of taste checked!

Whilst the first cigar in the Casa Magna range was designed by Plasencia, the richer, more chocolatey blend of this maduro is indeed a creation by the Quesada family.

The first thing we notice is a blend of earthy and woody flavours, courtesy of the magnificent Mexican wrapper that adorns this fine Robusto. Its understated, simple appearance gives it a reassuring, slightly old-school feel.

On the nose, chocolatey notes are immediately apparent. They are rounded and rich. This intensity remains throughout the tasting, without ever becoming overpowering.

The blend’s character soon comes to the fore. The aromas intertwine and become more complex. Chocolate remains ever-present in the background, like the soundtrack to this cigar. But that’s not all… woody notes and hints of sweet spices join the melody, drawing us into a rich and enjoyable tasting experience.
