Caldwell The King is Dead Supreme

Five years of work, back and forth, and tasting! That's how long it took Caldwell's master blenders to find the balance of flavours they were looking for in this cigar.

This Dominican puro with its slender stature (almost 18 cm long) and dark wrapper looks impressive and could be intimidating, but don't worry… from the very first puffs, it reassures us with a controlled and smooth range of aromas.

A cigar that we would gladly reserve for an afternoon spent basking in the sun or after a light supper accompanied by a good stout, which will perfectly complement the roasted coffee aromas.

Tasting menu

Notes

A subtle balance of milk chocolate, spices, liquorice and coffee that will delight our taste buds throughout most of the tasting. This is followed by more oriental scents of wood, leather and spices. An elaborate and complex composition that we will enjoy right to the end.
Once again, Caldwell proves that a cigar that may seem imposing at first glance can reveal itself to be well-balanced, with a strength that is never excessive.

Pairing

A good stout that will echo the notes of coffee and cocoa, or a spirit light enough not to overpower the aromas of this delicate gem.

Momentum

After a light meal that leaves you feeling hungry.
