Scooby Snax by Lost and Found
Lost & Found Cigars is not just another cigar brand, it's another experience. Most of the time, you know who created your cigar, where the tobacco was grown, where it was rolled and so on. With Lost & Found Cigars this is simply not the case. The result of a collaboration between Robert Caldwell, owner of Caldwell Cigar Co, Tony Bellato, owner of La Barba Cigar Ltd, and designer Jaclyn Sears, Lost & Found is a unique project.
The brand's mission is to make new things out of old cigars. Our three friends recover surplus stocks from aging rooms that have been aged, 'lost', forgotten or even unsold by bankrupt companies, and recondition these cigars. Profits from sales are then donated to charity. The places where these rare and limited nuggets are unearthed are not disclosed. The anonymous cigars are repackaged under the name Lost & Found, with a catchy name and logo reminiscent of other popular brands. There have been quite a few versions so far, and all of them are limited. Using this cigar repackaging tactic, these versions benefit Camillus House, a non-profit organisation based in Miami, Florida, which provides housing, medical care and addiction treatment to the homeless.
We've selected the Robusto-sized Scooby Snax for you, which offers a clean (very Nicaraguan) attack before moving quickly into the smooth, creamy quality of a late-morning cigar. Make no mistake, although this cigar seems to offer a smooth and meditative tasting experience, it is satiating and considered middle-full... Scoooooooby dooo by doooohooooo....
