Quesada Reserva Privada Toro Gordo
The Quesada family, bakers from father to son, arrived in Cuba from Spain in the 17th century, and it was in 1800 that they started the tobacco business when a debt was paid to them in tobacco. At first, they decided to roll the leaves. Then, faced with success, the family decided to grow their own tobacco plants.
This little-known brand deserves its reputation and its position as one of the great tobacco families. It's an understatement to say that they don't shy away from travelling to find the best terroirs and offer the industry the best plantations.
They created their own brand, then with the opening of a new plantation they decided to create a brand with its own name: Casa Magna, which some people will recognise.
This Toro Gordo de la Reserva Privada is an exceptional cigar. 1997 gave them an exceptional 'cosecha' and it is even said that this tobacco still forms the filler of the cigar you smoke today.
A smooth, fragrant smoke! Notes of cedar and dried fruit give this cigar unparalleled accessibility! Its Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper dresses this elegant cigar, which is undoubtedly a vitola for every day... and every moment!
