My Father Cigar Blue Petit Robusto
Accustomed to crafting cigars of character in Nicaragua, the brand set up in Talanga, Honduras, to exploit and develop its own tobacco plantations. The Petit Robusto My Father Blue illustrates the pioneering spirit of My Father Cigars. This vitola marks the company's very first production in Honduras, a strategic step in its development.
Tasting note
Tasty notes of caramel and vanilla emerge on tasting, adding a pleasant sweetness. The subtly sweet cloak wraps the whole with finesse and reinforces the sensation of roundness on the palate.
The draw is very open, offering a fluid and immediate smoke from the very first puffs. Tasting time is relatively short, around thirty minutes, making this cigar an ideal daytime companion, especially after lunch or during a coffee break.
The aromatic development remains discreet and controlled, with no real striking changes, maintaining a constant, balanced profile. The combustion, impeccable from start to finish, deserves to be highlighted, as does the draught, which remains comfortable and pleasant throughout the tasting.
Pairing
A «café crème» or «cappucino» cigar par excellence, as much for its small size as for its creamy, sweet taste.
