MOSH Torpedo

Developed by Adrien Dalang, the new MOSH le cigare range will win you over with its straightforward, authentic flavours. Like their creator, these cigars invite you to share a moment of conviviality.

The leaves of this Torpedo are rolled upside down. This means that the tip of the leaf is at the head of the cigar, giving the cigar soft, round chocolate notes.

Has very raw, animal notes, a feeling of being out in the fields, where the scents of hay and sunshine mingle. It has a very pleasant musky aroma.
The first notes are soft. Very different from what you might have detected at first. The tasting promises to be very interesting.

All the components of this cigar are impressive. First of all, the San Andres wrapper. Hard to the touch and very dark. It gives us a spicy, musky scent. Then there's the piloto cubano wrapper, which adds a sweet vanilla and cinnamon flavour. It's enough to bring back our earliest memories of pastry-making. The filler is made up of 5 other tobaccos selected and blended by Adrien to give the blend the balance and complexity of a great cigar.

The fire burns evenly and a fine, evenly layered ash forms at the base.
The first third of the cigar is fairly smooth. The aromas are pleasant and light.

The draw was rather light on my first punch cut, so after about 20 minutes, I decided to go a bit harder to unleash the full potential of this vitola. No regrets (apart from the ash that couldn't withstand the guillotine blow)! Now that the draw is a little more airy, the cigar expresses itself more freely. The wisps of smoke intensify and the aromas evolve towards woody and nutty notes, and I rediscover the animal and leathery scents that characterised it before lighting.

After the first third, even more roundness and chocolate aromas are added, offsetting the previous notes. These will dominate until the end of the tasting.

Notes

A tasting in two stages. Initially light and woody, the body develops rich notes of cocoa nibs. Throughout the experience, the aromas are creamy and soft.

The cigar anecdote

"I was able to learn how to read a cigar; when I smoke a cigar, I wonder about the writer's touch, his literary style, which is so interesting". Adrian Dalang, creator of the new MOSH range
