Lost and Found Plume Toro
A forgotten cigar production limited to 2,500 copies, some of which we were able to obtain for you to taste. This 'plume' will take you on a journey with its wintry flavours.
We managed to put our finger on the winter notes before their time: Lost and Found's Plume. Its sweet name tickled us to taste it, and the surprise was more than pleasant. So pleasant, in fact, that we've literally sold out and you'll have the pleasure of sharing the end of this series with us.
This 2020 toro has been produced in a limited edition of 2,500 units worldwide, including 2,000 for Switzerland.
In its almost regressive packaging, like a slab of chocolate, this Lost and Found Plume hides a magnificent tasting experience.
A cigar full of aromas, with notes of cocoa, spices (nutmeg, cinnamon), and a very gourmand side. It reminded us of a Christmas cake, round and reassuring, but with an assertive character that develops throughout the tasting with notes of black pepper.
For the pairing, the question to ask is what would you enjoy a Christmas cake with? With apologies to the Bialetti purists, Mrs Blue Smoke opted for a café au lait with a small spoonful of caramel syrup for this very tasty cigar.
