Griffin's Classic Piramide
Initially reserved for the Griffin's club in Geneva, this cigar quickly conquered a much wider market. Its smoothness, toasty notes, supple draw and generous smoke make it the perfect companion for brunches and aperitifs.
It's a warm, sunny summer morning. You've got up early to enjoy your morning lungo at the local café and, for those with a sweet tooth, your Sunday brunch. Today, we can't help but advise you to take this Griffin's with you.
Initially made for the very select Griffin's club in Geneva by one of Zino Davidoff's disciples, these cigars quickly won unanimous approval within the club. It was then that Bernard Gobet (owner of the club) decided to market them throughout Switzerland. Quickly bought out by Öttinger Davidoff, The Griffin's are now exported all over the world.
The cape comes from the equator. It is very fine and smooth. Tightly stretched, it feels evenly filled to the touch.
Tasting note
Notes
Unpasteurised, the main notes are light hazelnut.
On lighting up, the first moments are gentle, and it takes a few puffs before the toasty, peppery notes start to stand out.
The tasting is easy, with the constant draught giving us a nice, smooth, round smoke. The Dominican tripe allows the aromas to develop slightly, adding a touch of leather and cocoa.
The finish is creamy and well-balanced, with warm, pleasant notes and a smooth, linear finish.
