Caldwell Savages Toro

Raw, generous aromas of warm earth and slightly honeyed cedar. On tasting, creamy, nutty flavours evolve into peppery and berry notes.

This newcomer is a highly enigmatic cigar. Although the exact composition of this 'wild' cigar has not been revealed, we can guess that it contains Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos.

The caramel-coloured Habano cape leaf is set with a steampunk-looking ring designed by Turin-based artist Pixel Pancho. There's a quirky feel here that's perfectly in keeping with the 'The Special Stuff' range produced by Robert Caldwell and his team.

Caldwell

When we spotted him out of the corner of our eye at Intertabac, we had to rub our eyes a few times. But it was hard to miss him, with his New York skyscraper height and piercing eagle eyes. The man whose cigars we love so much was right there in front of us, in the flesh. With his biting punchlines, his self-mockery and his legendary detachment.

Since 2013, Caldwell has been offering a disruptive and sometimes disturbing approach, with a no-nonsense approach and the brand's characteristic style. Creamy and powerful, with sometimes disconcerting aromas, Caldwell cigars are where you least expect them.

Innovative concepts, crazy cigars and a good group of friends... that could be Robert Caldwell's recipe for happiness.

Through these cigars, Caldwell also supports a number of associations and artistic or charitable projects, and never fails to involve its community or its retailers.
