Used to producing rather mild cigars, Ashton has this time teamed up with A. Fuente to produce a blend with more pizzazz than usual.
By incorporating Nicaraguan tobaccos into the heart of the composition, Ashton offers us a deeper taste experience.
The first notes are rather flattering. Raw, a hint of vanilla mingles with the leather to give a lovely roundness that continues throughout the tasting.
Once lit, the sweetness continues with notes of almond and a hint of sugar, reminiscent of the nougat of our childhood. A little regressive... but so very pleasant.
Fragrances of toasted bread take over in the second third (not enough to leave the brunch table of our sensory palate).
The finish is balanced and harmonious. Symmetrical, some might say...
