Don Pepín García

Don Pepín García is the brand founded by José ‘Pepín’ García, a Cuban master torcedor who settled in the United States in the early 2000s. Together with his son Jaime, he opened the small El Rey de los Habanos factory in Little Havana (Miami), before developing the My Father Cigars range, whose factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, is now one of Central America’s leading names.

The brand’s style is instantly recognisable: Nicaraguan Corojo and Criollo tobaccos grown by the García family, Cuban-style rolling, meticulous finishes and consistent construction. The JJ Series, whose initials refer to the first names José and Jaime, is one of the brand’s historic ranges, still crafted in Miami.
