The brand, established in 1895, takes its name from Balmoral Castle in Scotland, the residence of Queen Victoria. It was during her reign that many of the key players in the cigar industry (still active today) first emerged. The watchwords? Artisanal expertise and respectability.

The same is true of Jacques Wintermans, founder of Royal Agio Cigars. This Dutch entrepreneur was the first of four generations that have followed in his footsteps to bring us these fine cigars.
