Experience #12
During the month of January, discover some exceptional cigars.
From Nicaragua and Cuba, our three vitolas of the month are full of gutsy aromas.
The cigars in this selection
Cuaba Exlusivos
Since its foundation in 1996, Cuaba has been characterised by a particular style of vitola, the figurado. This format, very popular in the early 1900s, saw its popularity plummet in the 2nd half of the century, to the point where it had almost disappeared from our civets. But that was without counting on Cuaba and his determination to restore this complex format to its former glory.
This Cuaba Exclusivos is the perfect example of the figurado. find out more...
Joya de Nicaragua Antaño Gran Reserva Gran Consul
The Joya de Nicaragua Antaño cigars are made from Nicaraguan leaves aged for 5 years.
This longer maturing of the tobacco leaves gives this rather stocky cigar tenfold vigour and strength.
The "double ligero" filler gives this cigar a powerful, highly aromatic body with full-bodied notes of coffee, leather and caramel. find out more...
La Aurora 107 Nicaragua Gran Toro
To mark the 107th anniversary of La Aurora, the Jimenes family are offering us a twist on their Dominican cigar tradition with a new range of puro nicaragua.
With its sweet notes of dark berries, vanilla, cocoa and earthy flavours, La Aurora 107 surprises us with fuller-bodied aromas in its second third.
It's a generous tasting all the way through, and is sure to excite the taste buds right to the end. find out more...
