Patoro

After gaining solid experience at the House of Davidoff, Patrick Jonas Martin founded Patoro in 2001.

A subtle contraction of his first name and 'Oro' (Spanish for 'gold'), the new brand aims to be an ambassador for the richness and traditions of the Dominican terroir.

Patoro was built on an artisanal approach and great attention to detail. Patrick has always focused on small production runs of cigars made from aged tobaccos, with leaves selected for their high quality.

Small production volumes mean that the brand remains somewhat discreet for the time being, allowing Patrick and his team to offer cigars with perfect rolling properties and balanced flavours.

In 2014 Pablo Richard (the grandson of Dr. Ernst Schneider, former owner and Chairman of the Oettinger Davidoff Group) decided to leave surgery for his greatest passion - cigars - and joined the wonderful Patoro adventure.
