Blue Smoke Spirit is Switzerland’s first subscription service offering a monthly selection of three cigars.
It also includes invitations to events with original themes (storytelling and cigar evenings, pirate nights, Texan nights, Mexican nights, etc.).
The brand was launched with an ambitious goal: to democratise the world of cigars, making it accessible to everyone.

We are tough epicureans.
We are Lea and Tim, the proud founders of Blue Smoke Spirit. For us, the joy of a cigar is something to be shared. Over a glass of wine, with friends, on a special occasion, or simply on your own. It takes us on a journey, inspires us to dream, and awakens our senses, our taste buds and our sensibilities. We hope you enjoy exploring the wonderful world of cigars as much as we do.
Blue Smoke: why is the smoke blue?
The bluish colour comes from the scattering of light by very fine particles in the smoke.
- The natural oils in well-fermented tobacco produce very fine particles.
- These particles scatter blue light more effectively (an effect similar to that which makes the sky blue).
The smoke appears bluish or blue-grey. It is this colour that inspired us, a colour that evokes the high quality of a cigar.
The logo
The Blue Smoke ethos is rooted in a particular focus on graphic design. We wanted it to be printed on the envelopes in a unique way, with a distinct visual style. We carved it into wood, sketched it, printed it — large, small, on stamps — before finally opting for linocut.
We wanted to create something truly personalised, as this is also how we select our cigars. The logo is imperfect, and that is precisely why it reflects who we are. Thanks to its unique character and hand-printed nature, no two boxes will ever be quite the same.

A healer of ailments, a healer of the soul. It brings people together to share a unique moment. It allows us to refocus, to clear our minds, to meditate. A cigar offers a moment of sharing, with others or with oneself.
