Matilde Serena Toro Bravo
The first notes to reach us are rather gentle. A hint of wood and caramel initiate the tasting. The aromas evolve moderately and persist on light flavours.
This is the second module from Matilde that we invite you to discover. This is the lightest model in the range, and its tobaccos from Nicaragua, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic give it a lovely roundness.
Tasting note
Notes
The first notes to reach us are rather gentle. A hint of wood and caramel initiate the tasting. The aromas evolve very little, remaining on light notes.
Once it reaches the purin, the cigar begins to be more gourmand and the creaminess settles in. At the end of the tasting, the cigar is a little greedier.
The smoke is generous and on a straight cut, it flies away in big clouds. In season...
The filling is good, although we would have preferred a slightly less flexible draw. Combustion was flawless throughout the tasting, and the ash broke off by itself after about 5 cm.
Momentum
We'd happily recommend it to a new afficionado who wants to try his hand at a slightly larger module without fear of losing his footing. Experienced enthusiasts will prefer it to accompany their coffee while reading the Sunday morning paper, or as part of a game of 'patience'.
