Escobar Connecticut Robusto

Escobar Connecticut is a mild yet full-bodied line from AJ Fernandez. It combines Nicaraguan tobaccos for strength with Honduran varieties full of flavour and sweetness. The result is a subtle blend of sweetness and lightness.

Tasting note

As soon as it is lit, the cigar opens with a slightly acidic start, adding freshness and paving the way for a smooth tasting experience. The draw is very airy, offering a dense, generous white smoke that effortlessly fills the palate.

The Connecticut mantle is delicate and even, with an attractive, well-groomed appearance. The ash, on the other hand, is rather crumbly, so you need to be careful during combustion.

On the palate, the aromatic profile remains light, round and accessible, with lovely notes of walnut and hazelnut, enhanced by a creamy texture that subtly coats the palate. The cigar shows little change in flavour: it remains stable and unsurprising, perfect for a pleasant tasting experience that doesn't require too much concentration.
