Macanudo Emissary España
Macanudo Emissary España uses a harmonious blend of tobaccos from five countries, the centrepiece of which is a Havana seed grown near the town of Riolobos in Spain. The region’s rocky soil and Mediterranean climate produce a rich tobacco that cannot be replicated elsewhere. Grown alongside olive trees and fields of peppers destined for paprika, this tobacco is distinguished by its thick, oily leaves, shaped by hot, dry summer days and mild nights. Combined with the mineral-rich nature of the soil, the result is a tobacco of remarkable intensity and complexity.
The Spanish Havana leaf is blended with five tobaccos from four other countries (Nicaragua, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and the United States), aged for between 5 and 10 years. This optimal ageing process mellows the tobaccos and brings out all their subtle nuances.
This is the first time we have presented a cigar containing a Spanish filler (aged for 10 years), which adds a distinctive touch to this tasting experience.
