Alec & Bradley Blind Faith Robusto
Rather than asking you to trust us blindly, we invite you to discover for yourself the cigar that marks a new turning point in the Rubin family.
Blind Faith! This is the very first cigar from the duo Alec & Bradley (aged 26 and 22 at the time), worthy sons of Alan Rubin, founder of Alec Bradley.
The cigar is rolled in the same Honduran factory as the brand's other models.
The cape is grown in fields belonging to Alec Bradley. It gives the cigar a silky feel and conceals a double wrapper composed of a tobacco leaf from the Jalapa region of Nicaragua and a second from Trojes in Honduras.

Unlit, pleasant aromas of barn and warm leather. The draw is easy and the body of the cigar seems well-filled. To the touch, the dark brown wrapper is soft and smooth.
The first puffs reveal distinct notes of bitter cocoa marked with a hint of vanilla. The chocolate aromas dissipate in the first third, giving way to leather. A touch of pepper and a hint of soft wood perfume the creamy smoke, whose blue-grey wisps rise gently.
This module burns slowly and evenly and does not require any special attention. The ash holds together fairly well, but will crumble if you heat it too much. Remember to take your time.
Although both sons demonstrated their potential with this first module, Alan has not had his final say. And at 94 years old, he is still the one who opens the factory doors early in the morning.

Notes
A cigar full of indulgence. With its initial aromas of cocoa and leather, it starts off smoothly. This is followed by spicy and liquorice notes.
Pairing
For once, we suggest you enjoy this robusto with dessert. It pairs well with a Liège waffle, which adds a sweet and crunchy touch to the creaminess and cocoa notes of the cigar.
