Silencio Black Supreme
The ebony black cape of this toro gordo invites us to enjoy a richly flavoured experience. The veins are clearly visible, resembling the protruding veins of a racehorse. It is indeed a powerful beast that will take us on a frenzied tasting experience.
The raw aromas promise a rich and intense experience. The construction is impeccable, the wrapper is oily, with a pleasantly rough texture. The chocolate and woody aromas are already very present when raw. We strongly recommend a straight cut for this fairly powerful cigar, in order to appreciate all its aromas and control the spiciness that can quickly go to your head. Take the time to enjoy it slowly, with a refreshing drink.

The cigar is very easy to light, and a beautiful white ash quickly forms, although it is a little crumbly. The burn is even.
Right from the start, the woody and spicy notes quickly come through. It gets off to a flying start with earthy tones (dry earth, smoke, leather). Approximately halfway through the cigar, its somewhat harsh character gives way to more roundness. Still in the same earthy and spicy register, we discover notes of aged oak, like the smell of a barrel cellar. We also detected a pleasant hint of aniseed, which adds a touch of freshness and gives this powerful cigar a beautiful balance.
The final third opens up with powerful leather aromas and a lovely fullness on the palate.
A cigar of remarkable construction and varied tasting notes, whose key characteristics remain strength, earthiness and leather. As its name suggests, this "silencio" sometimes needs no commentary, allowing the intense tasting experience to speak for itself.

The cigar anecdote
The distinctive feature of the Silencio Black Supremo is its carefully fermented Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, which gives it a shiny ebony colour and deep flavours reminiscent of espresso.
