Concealed Carry
Our friend Omar de Frias from Fratello Cigars has launched an exciting project:
“Concealed Carry Cigars” pays tribute to the Prohibition era in the United States, from 1920 to 1933.
The nationwide ban on the manufacture, transport, and sale of alcohol went down in history, both because its enforcement was nearly impossible and because it gave rise to an underground alcohol industry dominated by organized crime — keyword: Al Capone…
Omar’s idea with this line is to represent a period of American history that some like to remember, while others would rather forget.
Concealed Carry is a carefully curated collection of six thematic cigars, each featuring its own exclusive blend and unique story; each blend embodies a specific period of that era.
As Winston Churchill said:
“Those who fail to learn history are doomed to repeat it.”
Omar adds:
“In a world where secrecy is paramount and history speaks its warnings, let yourself be seduced by the allure of exclusivity by exploring the depths of the Prohibition line. For those who understand the lessons of the past, each cigar becomes a testament to the proverb: ‘He who ignores history is doomed to repeat it.’ Let’s rewrite history together, one puff at a time!”
The six different blends are being released gradually, each in a single edition of 1,000 boxes (cans) of 12 cigars.
ImpCor GmbH convinced Omar that aficionados in Switzerland should also be able to enjoy these cigars. The company will be the exclusive distributor in Europe, delivering a limited quantity of boxes to selected specialized retailers.
